Merry Christmas Fellow Bloggers

I don't think I have lost any or gained since last time. I have been sick so haven't been really trying to diet. I will get back into it at the first of the year to get this remaining weight off. Weigh-In Day and Picture Day!!

Ok, I visited the good ole doctor today and GUESS WHAT!!!! I lost another 7 1/2lbs. Yay!!! Here are my stats below:

Started Aug 24, 2007: 255lbs

Current Nov 7, 2007: 230lbs

Current Weight Lose: 25lbs

Goal Weight: 150lbs

Weight to Lose: 80lbs

I am 1/4 the way there and have lost 10% of my body weight!


Things to work on:

MORE water, water, water, water, water

EXERCISE DAILY!!!!!


Thoughts/Feelings:

I am very happy with my results considering all the candy I consumed during Halloween. I need to get back focused and keep going!!

Update.... Not Really!

Just wanted to update on my progress.... Well I know nothing, I haven't got on any scales so I don't know if I have lost any more weight. I have not being doing very well lately. Haven't been counting my fat grams, having been drinking all my water, haven't been doing my exercise, but I have been taking my meds. The only positive think I have right now is that I tried on a pair of jeans saturday that I haven't been able to wear and they fit and I wore them out. This is also the case on a some capris that I own that last time I wore them, I felt like they were going to cut my body in half they were so tight. Well last week they fit.... all day!!! So who knows, I may attempt to step on some scales tomorrow. Ill post you and let you know.

I Have Lost 20lbs!!! Hip Hip Hooray

I went to the doctor today, not to weigh-in but for some other problem. I didn't get any really good news except that I had lost 2 more pounds. It made my whole day.

August 24, 2007 = 255lbs
October 9, 2007 = 235lbs
Pounds lost = 20lbs
Goal Weight = 150lbs
Total to lose = 85lbs
5lbs away from losing 10% of my body weight. Go Heather Go

Going to Visit the Doctor

Well it is about that time again. I go to the doctor tomorrow, Oct. 3 to see what I have done. I pray that my weight is down. I have been getting more comments on me looking as if I've lost weight, so please please please let me be down not up. I will post tomorrow and let all (ha ha ha) loyal readers know if this crazy women who shares her diet struggles with the whole world has lost anymore weight.

BreakThrough

I have had a breakthrough today. I normally don't like wearing t-shirts because they feel like they are going to strangle me around the neck and hips. This morning I woke up and slapped on a t-shirt(that did the same thing) and it FIT!! I mean it covers my hips and I don't like I'm choking to death. Hooray for that. No, I haven't been back on the scales since that horrible last experience. I go to doctor Wednesday and I have no choice but to step on them scales. Please pray that I am down, cause I don't know if I could handle gaining. Later

Bad Dieters Weekend

Howdy all, I had a bad dieters weekend. It started off friday at The Clock, oh boy. I did good with my chargrilled chicken sandwich until I started eating some onion rings on my plate. Huge Mistake. It tore my stomach up. Then we went to my grandmothers 70th birthday party in TN and I had bunches and bunches of fat grams. After that went to my brothers house to watch the gamecocks and we had pizza. OMG, what happened. So I messed up for a day and half, I got back on track today with chicken and brown rice. I sure hope these days didn't mess me up to with my weightloss, but I'm not going let it bring me down. Today is a new day.

Since I was feeling so bad, I decided to check the scales to make sure I was going down and still doing it right, I lost 2 more lbs. YAY. 12lbs away from goal for this month.
Starting weight- 255lbs
Present weight - 242lbs
Weight lose - 13lbs
Duration- 2week - 6 days
Total weight still to lose - 92lbs
Goals - Need to increase water and start a regular exercise routine.

BLAH BLAH BLAH

The last few days I have been feeling like blah. I am not eating much at all because I'm never really hungry and most everything taste bad. I am taking a multi-vitamin in the morning but end up throwing it up. I know I am just having a low right now with all these side effects. I need some encouragement right about now. Later

Eating Good In The Neighborhood

I forgot to post this yesterday but I wanna give a shout out to Applebee's and their Weight Watchers Menu. We ate dinner there Saturday night and I had the TORTILLA CHICKEN MELT and it was very yummy and it was only 13 grams of fat. WOW!!

You Can't Take Fat Out of Meatloaf

I am going to make this short and sweet because I am feeling very sick today. I got this crazy idea last night to make a meatloaf that was fatless friendly. I used turkey burger instead of hamburger meat. I used egg beaters instead of egg. I used skim milk instead of whole milk. I used wheat bread crumbs instead of regular bread. And I mixed this whole thing together and popped in the oven. Took it out and it didn't even look right. Turkey burger has a very light color instead of hamburger brown. So Gracie and I ate it anyway, I thought it was so bland and I added more ketchup, still bland. It was not good. So..... "you can't take fat out of meatloaf.. and expect it to be good". BTW Gracie ate all hers, so this could also be a taste bud issue too. Jeff is going to try it today and let me know. I'm out!!

Ok so I lied, I went and weighted myself and I have lost 3 more lbs(Give or take, different scales). YAY!!
Beginning - August 24 - 255lbs
Present - September 10 - 244lbs
Duration - 2 weeks 3 days
Total Lost - 11lbs
Total to Lose - 94lbs

Where Are My Taste Buds?

I had a pretty good weekend! I am now past the 2 week mark and into my 3rd week of changing my eating habits. I am not sure of how much I have lost, I may go check on Wednesday to see if I am at least going down. I finally drank my 94 oz of water on Friday. Wow I was swimming. I am having a problem with my taste buds I believe. Nothing taste the same anymore. I have tried to drink sweet iced tea and it taste so yucky. Alot of things that use to taste amazing don't have that same taste, thats prob. a good thing. Does anyone know why that is? Or have some suggestions? Oh well thanks again for all the support and I will post again if I weight myself Wednesday. Later.

New Medicine, More Energy

Well when I went to the doctor yesterday the doctor put me on a different medicine. The first pill was doing great at curving my hunger pains and giving day time energy but by evening I was so drained I could hardly move. Sooooooo he changed it to something stronger and I divide the pill, take 1 in the AM and 1 around 4ish. I changed my pill today and I can feel a difference. I can actually move in the evening too. YAY!!!! I didn't do that great with my water but great with my food. OH and guess what I finally opened my walk video last night and walked a mile. It was great and I felt great. I will try to walk the video again tonight. Thanks everyone for the comments from yesterday, they were a big encouragement. Oh and I will be posting picture as my weight goes down. First Things First

Hi my name is Heather. I am 29 years old and severely obese. I started noticing my weight gain when I was about 21 years old and it has kept rising since. I went from wearing a size 8 to now pushing size 20/22. I know your thinking I am crazy about building a whole blog area about me losing weight, well I am. The reasoning behind is so that I could not only have accountability with the doctor but with my readers as well. I have found from being overweight everything is different from the way people treat you to the way people talk to you to the way you see and treat yourself. Anyhow, this is my weightloss journal and I am more than happy to share it with anyone who would like to read it. Watch me shrink!!

Here is a picture of me on my wedding day, June 22, 2007, weighing in around 255.

Ok now your prob. wondering what the plan is to lose weight. Here it is plain and simple:

- 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week or more

- 20 fat gram diet

- Diet pill (under doctors supervision)

- 96oz of water a day

August 24, 2007

I went to the doctors and weighted in at 255lb. Set goal weight at 150lbs. Meaning 105lbs to lose. I can do it.

Present day

Went to the doctor today and weighted in at 247lb. Lost 8lbs and 97lbs to go.

Milestone: I am under the mark of losing 100+ lbs.

Doctors thoughts: Blood pressure better, iron is real low (41), Cholesterol high (211), more water, take multi-vitiman, and more exercise

Goals: Work on all the above, and I wanna be down to 230 by my next appointment in month.
